Coconut Oil for Hair and Skin

Coconuts are awesome! They are great in a cocktail; the coconut milk can give rice flavor and coconut oil serves as a very effective moisturizer for your hair and skin. The great thing about coconut oil is it is a lot lighter than other oils that people use on their skin such as baby oil, argan oil, and jojoba oil. Coconut oil contains fatty acids, vitamins E and K, protein and iron. Coconut been proven to be great for improving health problems as well as helping hair and skin stay healthy and beautiful. This is my tried and true recommendation.

The Remedy for Skin

Buy a bottle of 100% pure coconut oil. It should be so natural you could eat it. After u shower while the skin is still damp pour a small amount of the coconut oil all over your body as a replacement for all of those lotions on your dresser. Coconut oil is also great for massages 😉

The Remedy for Hair
Wash and Shampoo your lovely tresses and apply coconut oil as an alternative for conditioner or you can use after rinsing conditioner. It is oil so you will not need a lot to go a long way. You can warm it up and use as a hot oil treatment as well. Coconut oil is great for treating damaged hair and promotes growth.

WARNING: Do not use coconut oil if you are going to use high heat styling tools such as a flat iron, pressing comb, curling or crimp iron. You run the risk of cooking your hair and that is NOT good or healthy.

Pros: It’s cheap, makes hair and skin look beautiful, smells great, results are visible immediately after use, it works

Cons: It’s sweet so it might attract bugs
